The 3 network has a lot to offer users who want a sim only plan. These plans are more affordable than standard mobile phone contracts because they do not include the cost of the phone. The only charges in these monthly plans are the airtime costs and messaging charges. The majority of the sim plans offered by 3 are 30 day sim deals. The 3 30 day sim plans range from as little as £5 per month for text only or internet only sim plans to as much as £15 per month for more inclusive plans.
Three 30 Day sim Deal
The low end 3 30 day sim deals limit you to texting or internet usage and do not allow for free phone calls other than those made via Skype. They also allow free Windows Live Messenger and offer free voice mail as well.
More expensive 3 30 day sim plans include calling to landlines and will also include a minimum of 1GB of mobile internet usage. The only exception to this is the sim only landline package which does not include internet data usage.
Another common feature that is shared by many of the more expensive 3 30 day sim calling packages is a higher number of calling minutes to other phones on the same network. This means that if you are calling friends who are also using 3 network phones you can talk a lot longer for less.
